剧情简介
Dinosaur fossils are worth their weight in gold in a market where serious scientists and fortune hunters vie to be first to the next big find. An eye-opening adventure documentary about bones, cash and big egos - and an absolute must for dinosaur fans.
Dinosaurs became extinct around 65 million years ago. Today, their bones and fossils are coveted and sell for staggering sums of money. Archaeologists follow in the footsteps of the dinosaurs to the furthest reaches of the globe to find fossils, through the Mongolian Gobi Desert, across the Sahara and into the American badlands. Here in the barren wastelands, they are in a constant race to find the next great scientific treasure before it falls into the hands of a fortune hunter with dollar signs in his eyes. Because once the bones are found, they are quickly dispatched to the lab, the museum, an exclusive auction house or the black market. Everyone wants a piece of the spectacular beasts. ‘The Bones’ is a thrilling tale of humanity’s desire to unravel the mysteries of the past, exposing the clash between science and hard-headed capitalism.
